Chance the Snapper Pleased with Self

July 18, 2019 By: Hillary

I drew this picture of Chance the Snapper, an alligator that appeared out of no where in a Humbolt Park Lagoon in Chicago. I love the look on the Alligator’s face. He looked so happy!

Check out the news story and see photos of Chance the Snapper here!

Edit-Brain

I am a video editor and I recently went on a work trip to Vegas. This is a drawing of what I look like the first day vs the 5th day of video editing. For the most part on these trips we are trapped in a hotel room editing for 12-15 hours a day! By the end of the trip we really look like hell!

Escape!

March 16, 2019 By: Hillary

I woke up the first morning in Puerto Vallarta with a text from my dog walker - Fox had slipped out of her collar and run away! I took her and my neighbor 45 minutes to catch her! She is such a wild animal! She even jumped into the lake at one point?

Fur-ever Home

March 12, 2019 By: Hillary

I recently adopted a little dog from Chicago Canine Rescue. She looks like a little Fox. I made this comic about her. She likes to hide and stare at me. Once I put her in a cozy place she passed out and slept for days!

Rescued

March 8, 2019 By: Hillary

It was a little bit impulsive, but I just decided that I did not want to live without a dog and so I went to Chicago Canine Rescue. I saw a bunch of dogs, but when I saw this dog I knew I would be taking her home. She was so terrified. Her siblings had already been adopted and so she was all by herself. I could not stand to leave her there! I made this comic about adopting her.

Adoptable Pets

February 28, 2019 By: Hillary

This is a comic about how I decided to adopt a new dog. I was so sad when my dog died. I could not stand being in my apartment. It was so quiet. I finally decided I did not want to live without a dog, and so I went to the shelter!

More Grieving

February 27, 2019 By: Hillary

I made this comic right after my chihuahua passed away. It was so sad. My apartment was so empty and my schedule was weird. There was no reason to go outside. I spent a lot of time at my sisters with her two dogs, and with my two nieces. I hate TV but for some reason it was comforting to find a channel on tv that played the golden girls all evening long.
